McCain to Palin: Ehhh ...

Most of the time I write my own entries, and quote others, but sometimes someone else say it so perfectly, that you just can't do better This is the case below with the Blog by Matt Negrin of Boston University that was posted on AOL:

""John McCain apparently thinks that the only promotion Sarah Palin deserves
is to vice president, not commander-in-chief.

In an interview with
ABC News, McCain said he "can't" endorse the Alaska
governor for a 2012
presidential bid.

Shocker.

When George Stephanopoulos asked
the
defeated Republican nominee if he
would endorse his one-time running
mate,
McCain quivered, "I can't say something
like that. We've got some
great
other young governors." Then he mentioned
Republican governors Tim
Pawlenty
of Minnesota and Utah's Jon Huntsman. In case
you don't
remember Pawlenty,
he was the guy lots of people thought McCain should
pick for VP.

Apparently picking up on the strange non-endorsement,
Stephanopoulos
asked
why the woman he said just a couple months ago
could run the country
if she had
to now isn't qualified for the job.

In typical maverick
fashion, McCain joked himself out of the gotcha
question."Have no doubt for
my admiration and respect for her and my
view of her
viability," McCain
said. "But at this stage, my corpse is
still warm."

I bet that line made
Cindy McCain feel all warm
inside""

It just doesn't get much better then this. Republicans self - destructing is always an interesting thing to watch.
