The Former President of the National Association of Evangelicals and Pastor of New Life Church Faces New Sex Allegations

The disgraced pastor, Ted Haggard is again in the news, as another one of his victims has bravely come forward to share the twisted details of what I guess some people would call a relationship.

As president of The National Association of Evangelicals and the pastor of New Life Church, Haggard would offen use hate speech, encourage violence, and work to deny the GLBT community it human & civil rights under US and International law.

As it turns out, Ted Haggard was in the closet, to scared to face who he really is and how his loving creator made him.

Haggard's downfall started in November 2006, when he was caught in a Denver area hotel with a male prostitute and massive amount of drugs during a cash for sex relationship.

Before this was reported, and in the public spotlight, Haggard was very close to and a just about weekly visitor to Bush's White House. Many still wonder what he was doing there and who was he with. Haggard was one of many closeted gay men who spent a lot of time around George W Bush.

The latest victim, now 25, says," that pastor Ted Haggard performed a sex act in a hotel room in 2006 and sent him explicit text messages.

His hidden relationship with Haggard, the man said, was followed by a period of isolation, struggles with drinking, drugs and suicide attempts"

This victim met Haggard in 2005 when he was 22. He said he told Haggard that he had been kicked out of a Moody Bible Institute in Chicago for his "struggles with homosexuality."

How many more people and families will be ruined by Ted Haggard? When is enough, and the law steps into investigate? How many victims are out there? Are any minors involved?

I wish I could that Ted Haggard was the exception to the rule, but that would just not be true. He is a perfect example of the Fundamentalist and Evangelical movement within the United States.

People like Haggard, with this movement, don't care about the people they claim to serve, if you are saved or not, Jesus Christ or his teachings. They only care about gaining power, control and personal riches

They give a big black eye to real Christians, who believe and follow the teaching of Jesus Christ everyday. The people who work to better their life, their communities and help other less well of then themselves.

I hope Haggard can be honest to himself, his family, and the public in the future. I also hope that both him and his victims can get the help, love and support that they are in very great need of and desire

Supreme Court Says No To Review of Obama's Eligibility

The Supreme Court of the United States of America, on Monday, refused to grant an emergency appeal that questioned Barack Obama's eligibility to be president under the Constitution.

Not to give the claim any merit, but as way of information, The appeal claimed that Obama is not a "natural born citizen," one of the requirements the Constitution lists for eligibility to be president.

At the core of the claim states that Obama's duel status as a American Citizen, and a British Subject is a problem. Barack Obama's Kenyan father at the time was a British subject. and his mother is an American.

The Supreme Court had learn it lesson from its disaster of a ruling in 2000's Bush vs Gore. That ruling seated a unelected person, George W Bush, as President, sealing the stolen election, and bogus Florida vote count. This was a dark time for the court.

The current make up of the court, although very much Republican controlled, seems more willing to be open. They are willing to look in all areas for a ruling, The Constitution, National & State laws, International Law, and Nation & World trends. This is not to say that I agree with every ruling that is made.

According to an AP story,"At least one other appeal over Obama's citizenship remains at the court. A man in Lafayette Hill, Pa., argues that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii as Obama says and Hawaii officials have confirmed.

He says Obama also may be a citizen of Indonesia, where he lived as a boy.

Federal courts in Pennsylvania have dismissed The Man's lawsuit. Federal courts in Ohio and Washington state have rejected similar lawsuits.

Allegations raised on the Internet say the birth certificate, showing that Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, is a fake.

But Hawaii Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino and the state's registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, say they checked health department records and have determined there's no doubt Obama was born in Hawaii."

It sad that in 2008 that some people are still so scared and filled with hate, and bigotry about an African -American being President, or having any success. it like they are stuck in southern 60's or pre-civil war mind set.

We don't need hate groups like KKK, Aryan Nation, White Pride, and NRA. I understand they have a right to free speech. but not to attempt the extermination of a race of people.

We are standing on one of the great moment is our history, and the history of the World. One day your great grandchildren, and grandchildren will ask you were you were when Barack Obama was elected and then sworn in as President of the United States of America.

I'm thankful that the Supreme Court heard and followed the will of the people, and upheld the election. By rejection this appeal, and not interfering, the court has help progress com to our nation, and democracy as a whole.

A Loving Message from a Fundamentalist Christian

I have a lot of political and activist friends from all over the country. As in any community we sent things of interest to each other. But when I was sent the following, I just couldn't believe it, I had to share it. I have never seen such open hate, bigotry, and racism.

" I got to wake up this morning to the first, HALF black president. Which as we all know is history in the making. And yay for all those racist, idiots who voted for the man because he's black! It just goes to show that this ONCE Great Country is full of people who cannot think for them selves. Never in my 28 years have I EVER felt so ashamed and disgusted to be apart of this country. I get bashed because I'm a republican, and because I did vote for Bush. I agree that the war went on long enough, and we should have pulled our troops a long time ago, but that isn't what happened. McCain got slaughtered because of people hating Bush, and because people these days are so desperate for something different, they forgot their God, they forgot the mind, they played into ignorance and voted. And for me, its not that he is HALF black....that is a point that didn't bother me at all. What bothers me is he is for partial birth abortions, he wants to teach sex-ed to my kindergartener, he
wants tore-vamp the national anthem, and change the flag because it represents
the very things that people fought for 100's of years ago! To be free! That is
what the constitution was written for, and its a damn good constitution if you
ask me. Nothing needs to be changed, it all needs to be redirected to what
started it all! People are cheering, people are crying, black churchs across
America we jumping for joy when Obama was annouced to be the 44th president! Any REAL, God fearing, Bible believing Christian in his right mind should have seen
through his BS....but no! We voted for someone with little to no experience all
because he's black! Way to go America! You're a bunch of effin' fools! So, who
care if the babies be murdered, or the Bibles burn, or if people get paid to sit
on their already lazy asses, or the family units be changed to whatever we
think, and while the Ax of this liar falls, we'll forever rememeber that he was
voted in because he is HALF black. Spread the WEALTH! God help us
all!"

Here are some points:

1) I'm a strong believer in the Constitution of the United States, and the First Amendment right to free speech. I also believe that everyone has a right to express their views, no matter if I agree or not . That all said, this rant clearly come very close to hate speech, something that is morally wrong, and not cover by the first amendment. In, fact it can lead to criminal and civil penalties.

2) I'm not a Christian, nor claim to be one. I'm a Pagan Witch, and very happy in my faith and spiritual life. That said, my parents are an Episcopal Minster, and a Methodist Deacon. They and other true follower of Christ would be very embarrassed by your rant. This will not bring anyone to him, you fail to be a fisher of men (or women).

3) Jesus taught to that people that they should love one and another as he loved us. He also said, that when you do unto the lest of thee, you do unto me. Jesus hung with and around the most hated outcast of his time.

4) Jesus was a Community Organizer, and Pilate was a Governor

5) You are extremely Pro- life, although I strongly disagree, you have a right to hold whatever view you want to on the issues facing the nation.

6) It's clear you get your information from The Faux (fox) News Network, or Oxycontin Radio

7) You seem to have little or no knowledge of the issues or policies put forth by the Obama / Biden Ticket, and the Democratic party

8) John McCain, the candidate you did support, would disavow this rant and you. I would suggest you go back and watch or read a transcript of his concession speech.

9) This was a historic day for America, not just African - Americans. It was a fulfillment of Martin Luther King, Jr's , I Have a Dream Speech. There is clearly more work to be done, but this was an important step forward for us as a country.

10) Another important thing to take away from this election is that more people were involved in the process then ever before, and that can't be a bad thing. Having a bigger, more informed amount of people lead to better and higher quality representation. I hope that everyone will stay involved and help shape policy. After it less then 2 year to the 2010 mid- term elections, and in shorter time then we'll like Obama / Biden will be up for re- election. This is just the first steps of a long journey.

What do you think? let me know, I love to hear your comments on this and all my entries

May the Goddesses & Gods Bless you, America, and the World )O(
